We will walk in a Biological Reserve that develops conservation programs, training environmental education. There are trails through secondary forest, where you can see in its natural habitat a wide variety of plants and animals: butterflies, alligators and iguanas, basilisks, two and three toed Sloths, the poisonous red frog, the red-eyed tree frog, and birds are easily observed on all tours. An educational trip where families with small children and teenagers will also find lots of fun and learn about nature conservation.
Arenal Volcano Hike
Enjoy the most extraordinary views of the Arenal Volcano on a gentle hike along the base of this marvelous "Mountain of Fire". Through the forest you have the possibility of spotting monkeys and a variety of birds including toucans. The walk on this trail is about 4 km with a medium level difficulty.
