About

Our company started as a personal passion for Costa Rican nature, adventure activities and our desire to cooperate in the protection of our natural resources. This project is run by Mayron Ulate a Costa Rican citizen. Mayron holds a bachelor’s degree in management and protection of natural resources and waste water treatment. He has worked in the tourism industry as naturalist and adventure guide in diferent regions of Costa Rica, as well as a volunteer in Quelonios Del Caribe, a biological station for the conservation ofsea turtles. More recently he has worked in the environmental education program of the «Ojoche Coservation Asotiation» in la Fortuna San Carlos in order to keep the Ecological Blue Flag (a recognition awarded to coastal and non coastal communities or educational institutions that achieve environmental excellence by adopting practices to meet strict health and sanitationstandards). We emphasize in learning as much as possible about the natural environment and the culture of our country. We like working with local communities, small independently-owned hotels; supporting environmental preservation and the sustainable use of the lands.
